Registration is free and open to all students in 2nd to 5th grade who would like to compete. All participants receive a goody bag and winners will receive extra prizes.

An exciting day is planned where each grade level will compete for one hour followed by an awards ceremony.

The Trimathlon is comprised of three challenges:

  • The Counting Game: Tests students’ ability to count from any number, to any number, by any number.

  • Magic Squares Challenge: Students are awarded points for developing their own math problems.

  • Mental Math Workout: Tests students’ number sense by asking them to solve problems without pencil and paper.

The challenges become more demanding the further a contestant progresses.
