The temperatures are warming up and the sun is sticking around just a bit longer, which means for those Barrington-area children entering kindergarten and first grade, BJWC Safety Town is just around the corner!
Safety Town, held in a miniature layout of a real town, is a hands-on educational opportunity for children to learn all types of safety lessons. Children who are entering kindergarten or first grade are eligible (must be five years old by September 1, 2017) and have not previously participated in Safety Town are eligible to become 2017 BJWC Safety Town campers.
Sessions run two weeks and meet Monday through Friday. Four sessions are offered in 2017:
Session 1 June 12-23 9:00am-11:30am,
Session 2 June 12-23 12:30pm-3:00am,
Session 3 July 10-21 9:00am-11:30am and
Session 4 July 10-21 12:30pm-3:00am.
